Since 2013, Essex has provided facilitation services to a collaborative effort involving water agencies, environmental groups, and State and Federal resource agencies focused on resolving science issues around biological opinions for Delta Smelt and salmonids in the Sacramento San Joaquin River Delta. Discussions are intended to break the cycle of litigation over project operations and provide a basis for better informed management going forward. Services include drafting the team’s annual progress reports and related goals and objectives.
