FERC License Compliance

January 11, 2011 by admin

Essex staff prepared several resource management plans for a a group of recently re-licensed hydropower projects in southern New England. The new FERC order required the licensee to consult with regulatoryagencies and non-governmental organizations during plan developement.  Essex staff worked closely with our client to fashon management plans that could be easily and economically implemented by the licensee while simultanesouly providing adequate protection of the target resources.  The management plans were developed to leverage on-going and planned efforts by local academic institutions and agencies for compliance while simultaneously advancing scientific research and resource enhancement efforts.
